April is gone. Four months since the beginning of the 2018 and we are deep-knee in the new metal records. So far I can concur - it will be another glorious year for the metal music. April was very intense of new releases, even hectic. Honestly I didn't find enough quality among the list though. Very few albums really grabbed my attention and the present list was not much easy to compile. As usual it contains 10 albums officially released in April (or in the last days of March), in no particular order + 3 bonus albums, which I discovered most recently, but they have left from the previous months...In total another fatal 13 pieces of deserving all attention. March is gone. Another month from the "calendar-life". So it is time again to list down my favourite albums of the month. These are only albums released officially within this month. As usual they are 10 with 3 "bonus tracks" and a Japanese version as well, so to make another fatal list + 2.  In NO particular order! March was intense and I witnessed some very good releases, coming from popular bands as well as from the underground. Some of the artists made it to my list, others simply didn't. As always I must point out that I wasn't able to give a proper listen to all the releases. It's impossible.  Let's get down to work! Some recent discussions among the lunatics' metal community in Twitter easily led to narrow down my all-time favourite Norway black metal albums. So I'm throwing them here in order to leave trace for the upcoming generations. Two lists below - 1) all time top 10 in particular order and 2) top 25 list in no particular order. Being into BM since 1994, means that these albums are mostly the Norway classics from the 90s. Honestly this second wave really gave me a lot and after it there haven't been so much great efforts coming. Just all dissolved into hundreds of subgenres and influences, loosing that so obscure underground feeling, the eternity and majesty.  Of course I can list excellent BM albums from the present, which still keep the flame and remind of the golden era. February just passed very quickly and again it is time to list down my top 10 for the month. I witnessed very good releases this month and of course it was a bit difficult to chose. Below is a list of ten records released in February (in no particular order) which grabbed most seriously my attention, and another three "bonus" which had been released in the end January, but I played a lot in February. Let's go for the fatal 13! Galvanizer - Sanguine Vigil Definitely most played record for the month. I had the pleasure to listen to it earlier before the release date in order to review it for Blessed Altar Zine . The heaven for all the die-hards for a klassik Scandinavian death metal with blasting grind moments.  Harakiri For The Sky - Arson Another gem in the amazing discography of this super-talented post-black band. Still, for me personally it can't top Trauma but it shows that the duo is growing and finding their sound of desperation.....
