MY TOP 20 FOR AUGUST 2022

August was a weak month. Many new albums went out but in general, the quality was intimidating for me. I managed to select a small list here of what I liked the most, and a few surprises popped up actually. Is it kvlt being unkvlt now??? The below list is super strong in my opinion. It definitely represents the better albums in this moment of time. I know a small selection of special albums out of the below twenty will land high on my AOTY list in the end of the year. Others will be lost in oblivion. I know.

My album of the month is "Deceivers". Yes, I have a soft spot for Arch Enemy. This new album is super tight and with great songs. I know you will say cheesy. Listen again. 

Many of my closest peers might notice that my list consists of some not typical for me entries. And it misses some releases that were highly praised or hyped as well. Well I enjoy what I enjoy. I thought even to include FFDP, goddamnit! 

Besides the below 20, I'd probably add two or three that are worthy of keeping in mind and revisiting in a while when in the right mood. Because everything is based on mood, circumstances, environment, feelings and state of mind and heart...

Listen to my choices, and enjoy the music, because life is passing by too quickly.

MY TOP LIST FOR MAY 2023 (Expanded)

May 2023 was an interesting month. Not many distinguished names, but rather bands and albums that get under the skin. In the meantime, I saw Watain and Pantera live and spent quite a good time with some old klassiks that helped me clean my ears from the contemporary sugar-coated plastic fantastic metal for dummies.
