I wasn't impressed by March. I was NOT.  Despite of enormous quantity of releases, barely nothing got me. I was honestly listening more to promos to upcoming releases, or catching up with some overlooked albums, or simply revisiting older favourites. That's why the present list was not easy to compile. As usual it consists of a bit more than 10 suggestions. As usual you should not expect the most famous bands in this list...Let's go - 15 in no particular order. VENOM PRISON - Samsara Release Date: 15 March 2019 This was the surprise of the month for me. Brutal AF, with crisp clear sounding, and own atmosphere. Usually my top tens turn to thirteens and plus, and it is the case again for February. The month has been very hectic in terms of new releases, however I must admit that few really caught my attention. And yes - they were NOT the most popular names. I selected fifteen albums which I think deserve high praise. I could list twenty or thirty, but quantity didn't mean quality in February.  I didn't include here the Wachenfeldt record, simply because it was released independently originally in 2017, and re-released by a label in February 2019. New year, new beginning... a lot of great music. Yes, January was huge in new releases. It was difficult to select the personal finest with such an abundance. As usual I wasn't able to pick just 10 releases and as usual I made a fatal 13 list, in no particular order. Probably I have missed something, but these 13 really deserve serious attention and listening. EVERGREY - The Atlantic Release date: 25 January 2019 Superb new album by the band. It just transcends you into another world. PHLEBOTOMIZED - Deformation of Humanity Release date: 7 January 2019 This is already one of the best DM albums of 2019. Released after 22 years of hiatus, with this album the band delivers mesmerizing quality. Another year has passed. Another wrinkle, pain, happiness, good, bad...We lived, we laughed, we cried, we grew older. Made another step forward...And on this road, on this "path to the cemetary gates", we supported the Underground as much as possible. It's been stunning years for our beloved music, as we have stated all the time here. For maybe around 30 years we haven't had that strong, diverse, abundant time of releases from below the mainstream, underground and the mines under the underground.
