A huge pile to choose from for my top list this October. But overall the month was not so much inspiring and the better albums immediately popped up in my mind. As always I am not sure how many of those below twenty will stay with me longer, but there are definitely some very good releases. As usual, I placed here what I really enjoyed during the past thirty days, and most probably with time I am going to find out that I overlooked an album.
This is what I consider the best releases for the month.
Gevurah deserved to be my album of the month, closely followed by Firtan. Spell realeased an album with the same artwork as Firtan 😱 And yeah, the debates over the new Darkthrone are funny, especially coming from their new fan database.
