Half of 2024 is gone! It is flooded with new releases and they just keep coming. Quality? Well, this is the tricky part... We listen and listen, trying to catch up with everything worthy, but then the worthiness criteria are getting lower and lower. The praise for mediocre albums is wild nowadays, to be honest.  June was a good month overall. One album clearly stood over the rest though. One album that destroys everything and will be very high on my AOTY list.

This is a delayed post, but I hate when the last day of the month is Friday and there are 975263419130 new releases again. I had to be sure that I had caught everything. With this busy release schedule and tons of new albums daily, the chance not to miss is minimal.
